2008 Fj Trail Teams Edition
This 2008 Toyota FJ Cruiser is one of approximately 3,200 Trail Teams Special Edition examples built for the model year and was sold new by Victory Toyota of Seaside, California. It later spent time in Nevada before being recently acquired by the seller and relocated to Utah. Now showing just under 6k miles, the truck is finished in Iceberg White over black cloth and powered by a 4.0-liter V6 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Factory equipment includes TRD 16″ alloy wheels, Bilstein shock absorbers, aluminum skid plates, a tubular roof rack, A-TRAC traction control, an inclinometer, and cruise control. This FJ Cruiser is now offered with factory manuals, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Utah title in the seller's name.
The Trail Team Special Edition was finished in Iceberg White for the 2008 model year and features a color-matched roof and black bumpers, mirrors, fender flares, and lower body cladding. Equipment includes a front bug deflector, bumper-mounted driving lights with FJ covers, a tubular roof rack, and a trailer hitch receiver. A rock chip on the hood is pointed out in the image gallery below, which also contains paint meter readings taken from around the body.
TRD 16″ alloy wheels wear a black finish and are wrapped in BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires. Additional Special Edition equipment includes Bilstein shock absorbers, rock sliders, aluminum skid plates, and A-TRAC traction control. A matching spare is mounted on the swing-out tailgate.
The cabin features seats upholstered in black cloth with patterned centers, as well as a two-tone dashboard and door panels. Rubber floor mats protect plastic floor liners, and amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, power windows and locks, and an AM/FM stereo with an in-dash CD player.
Instrumentation includes a 120-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline, along with a compass, external temperature display, and combination inclinometer/tilt indicator mounted atop the dashboard. The digital odometer indicates just under 6k miles, approximately 300 of which have been added by the seller.
The 4.0-liter V6 was equipped from the factory with variable valve timing, Toyota's variable length intake manifold system, a Cyclone air cleaner, and a TRD exhaust system. Factory-rated power output was 239 horsepower and 278 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission and a dual range transfer case.
Additional photos of the underside are provided in the image gallery below.
Factory manuals and a warranty booklet are included in the sale.
The September 2020 Carfax report lists no accidents or other damage and displays history in California, Nevada, and Utah.
